From Fear to Faith: A Solo 3-Month Biking Trip
on the American Discovery Trail

Holly Cooney offers a reflection, through pictures and stories, about a bicycle trip she took in 2002. The trip was a life-changing journey both outward and inward.
“Treks and Sojourns,” Adult RE’s new speaker series, provides a space in which UUs can talk about their travels. The name is an invitation to focus solely on travel as a secular experience (a trek), to offer a more spiritual dimension to the excursion (a sojourn), or to share a mixture of both (trek and sojourn).
In December, the first “Treks and Sojourns” featured Bill Frayer speaking about “Croatia: The Jewel of the Adriatic.”
